Alex's SR20 Powered AE86 - Complete Chassis, Swap and Suspension Makeover


Alex contacted us about a year ago determined to restore an AE86 and wanted us to do the complete build up. This build, excluding the body and paint, was done soley by our own Aki Maseba. The first week we let it loose, Alex took it to JDM Revolution and won Best Rear Wheel Drive. Congrats! We enjoyed having this car at our shop because it has a bit of everything: style, power & performance. The Greddy coilover kit was custom ordered to match this chassis. This car was also dynotuned, corner balanced and aligned to custom specs.


Engine: JDM S14 SR20DET Blacktop, Greddy pulleys

Induction: HKS Air Filter, BT Custom Fabbed Aluminum Intercooler Piping, BT Custom Intercooler, Greddy BOV

Cooling: Aluminum Radiator, TRD Radiator Cap, Derale Fans

Exhaust: BT Custom 3" Stainless Steel Turbo Back Exhaust with HKS Muffler

Management/Electronics: Factory ECU with Apexi SAFCII, Greddy Spec S Boost Controller, Apexi Turbo Timer, HKS Speed Cut

NEW UPDATE On Jeremy's 1972 Datsun 240Z - BT Built & Tuned KA24DE Turbo Making 339.3whp 342wtq

Last year we built this monster of a vintage Datsun for Jeremy with hopes that he'd get some paint and body. Our hopes came true! Shadow Bennett from Shadow Images did a one off custom paint job for this sick ride. Check out the new pics below!
