BlackTrax just celabrated their 5-Year Anniversary of offering you car enthusiasts unique custom performance and tuning. What better way to finish off the occasion with three magazine features and a book!

We were invited by SCC to the Ultimate Street Car Challenge back in August. At the time of the invite, we really didn't have a car prepared that could compete in all categories. Since Aki had just finished his LS-1 conversion in his Nissan 300ZX, we thought that this car would probably have the best chance amongst our other vehicles. Plus, this car was a REAL street car! With the LS-1 already swapped in, we had one month to prep it for the challenge. Getting the ball rolling, we started upgrading the motor with a cam, nitrous, induction. Suspension upgrades consisted of a roll cage, coilovers, brakes, wheels and tires. EFI Live engine management was installed and last but not least smog equipment :(

The November 2007 issues are now in newstands so grab yourself a copy! The December issue will show details and results of the challenge. We would thank everyone who has made this project, event and photo shoot possible.
